These breadsticks were rather addicting right out of the oven. The butter and cheese were understated but definitely caused half of the recipe to disappear before the pizza finished cooking. While they were addicting and delicious, they did not save well. I’d reduce the recipe to make sure that there are just enough to eat right out of the oven.

adapted from Tasty Kitchen

1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp dried rosemary, chopped
1 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp yeast

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine water, yeast, sugar and salt. Let the yeast mixture to sit for 5-10 minutes until it starts frothing and becomes fragrant. Slowly pour the flour, rosemary and garlic powder into the water and stir to combine. Once it forms a dough ball take the dough and place it on a floured board. Knead it gently for a few minutes (longer if you have stress to work out!)
Cut the dough into 32 pieces and roll them into breadsticks. Dip the dough pieces into butter and spread out over two parchment lined baking sheets. Once the breadsticks are all laid out, sprinkle the parmesan over them. Let the breadsticks rise for 10 minutes. Bake for 15 minutes.
