me so hungry

One of my friends recently sent me some free samples from Edward & Sons that he was working with*.  Most of the samples were Asian so I got to eat them without concern of sharing them with Dan.  One of the samples was for Miso Soup mix and I threw it into my pursue when Dan went out of town in case I didn’t make my lunch.

I’m not a morning person or a planner, so I didn’t make my lunch any of the days that Dan was out of town.  I was also so busy at work that I didn’t have an opportunity to buy lunch.  Each Miso soup pack had only about 60 calories (However, it does have more than a 1,000 mg of sodium).  I have to admit that at first it did not look so appetizing. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted just like Miso Soup that I get from a take out place.

My office is so cold that a warm bowl of soup is welcome even on the warmest days.  I think I’m going to seek these out again to keep in my drawer on those days I can’t get out of the office for lunch.
