When things are as busy as they’ve been I’ve been missing some photos and I have just found these pictures of our lunch at the Green Room in Kelowna.
The temperature was perfect when we were in Kelowna so we had to find a place to eat with an outdoor patio. The Green Room was near where our car was parked so it was easy to stumble upon.
I started the lunch off with a lime beer. No, not Coors light lime, Russell’s Lime-maybe it’s Canadian Coors Light? I dunno. Either was it was a tasty and refreshing beverage.
If you haven’t been able to tell, I love grilled cheese sandwiches. I swear I’m going to have one in every town we visit!
This one was good, but the cheese could have been more melted.
On the side we got a green salad with mango dressing. This was fantastic. It was a nice counterpart to the warm sandwich.
Dan was still hungry after lunch so we decided to order dessert. I got the berry crumble. It was pretty good. Not good enough for me to finish though.
And the crumble definitely put me over the edge into uncomfortable fullness. I definitely need to learn how to stop at 80% full. I’m just not really sure how to best estimate that!
How do you determine your optimum fullness?
