
With Dan away last weekend I had an opportunity to go shopping and lo and behold I saw some figs at Whole Foods. These were pretty good. I think they could have used a pinch of salt and a bit longer in the oven.


Roasted Figs
fresh figs
drizzle olive oil
drizzle agave nectar
freshly ground pepper (optional)
Preheat oven to 400.
Trim the stems off the figs and cut in half. Place figs in a casserole dish cut side up. Drizzle the figs with agave, olive oil, and freshly ground pepper. Roast for 15 minutes.
