a bit of a dilemma

So, I have a bit of a dilemma…I was wandering around the Interwebs yesterday when I saw a photograph that I took posted on the front page of someone's website without any attribution.  This image is one of the main ones on the website’s home page and as I dug deeper I found a number of others in the website owner’s blog.

So, what do I do?  I did share these pictures with a few people, and I didn’t add my watermark or place any restrictions on the pictures.  However, the owner of the website was not one of the people I shared the pictures with.   I know that the Internet is kind of new territory for all of this, and I don’t mind that the pictures were used so much as that it wasn’t attributed.

At this point, it’s not worth making a fuss about these particular pictures.  But what are your suggestions for moving forward?  I’m trying to make this into a bit of a business and I spend a ton of time working on these pictures, so I’d like to keep them from turning up all over (or at least in small parts of )the Internet without attribution (and since there is no attribution my google alerts won’t even pick them up!)

Any thoughts?
