jersey subs

I can’t remember a time when my mom hasn’t made her famous jersey subs.  These just say summer to me and while it’s a super easy recipe, I wanted to share with you!

  • olive oil
  • 1/4 lbs. baked ham
  • 1/4 lbs. hard salami
  • 1/4 lbs provolone cheese
  • 1/4 lbs. hot capicole ham
  • thinly sliced tomatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • basil
  • 1 thinly sliced onion
  • shredded spinach


Lightly brush the bread with olive oil.  layer the ingredients in the order listed and chow down.  So good!

This is another sometimes food, and frankly…it’s good with less meat and cheese.
