Grilling steak

Originally this recipe called for fennel and lemon and a whole bunch of other ingredients, but for some reason, I just can’t do fennel.  Maybe my tastes will change.  So, instead of eating all the pieces Dan made for dinner, I just ate my favorite parts.  The steak and the cheese.

I also had some mushroom casserole to go with it.   (I did keep some of the fennel leaves, although they didn’t taste like much…)

Fennel is a licorice taste, so if you're one of those people who gets grossed out by licorice you won't like it. However, fennel's incredible for the digestion. If you ever have a bad taste in your mouth and chew on it it will help!
