Greek Chicken is another of Dan’s classic recipes. When we first met he had three meat recipes that he cycled through. Devil’s Chicken, Greek Chicken, and Pork Chops Braised in White Wine. Sometimes it’s fun to go back and try these old school recipes!
Greek Chicken
Ingredients- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 lemons
- 1 Tbsp oregano
- salt and pepper
- 3 lbs chicken
Instructions
Combine all ingredients and cook at 375 for about 45 minutes.
I’m not going to guestimate the calories, since there is a half cup of olive oil used in the recipe but there is a cup of liquid left after cooking. It’s unclear how much is absorbed by the chicken!
