Today was a vegetarian day. I know I’m supposed to have something green on my plate at all my meals. I think I failed miserably today and all my meals are bland/muted fall colors!
I couldn’t decide what to eat for lunch so I settled on finishing our Spicy Butternut Squash and adding a side of Food Should Taste Good Sweet Potato Chips.

Tasty, although not very colorful. Lunch and Dinner were pretty bland-looking!

I decided to enjoy another pear after lunch. Does this count as green on my plate?

I had another beer to continue the brown-ish muted color theme. I swear, this beer makes my fingers swell up almost immediately! Does this happen to anyone else?

Dinner was a little late because of Dan’s long bike ride. He made his famed pasta. I like my pasta cooked and Dan likes his super-duper al dente, so we always have to make two different pastas. Thanks, Dan!

Does Italian Seasoning count as a “green” on my plate? No? Didn’t think so…

I have to say, two day weekends are too short! Thank goodness next weekend is a three day weekend.
