Since my family is now reading the blog, I know they are interested in hearing about my visit with my sister. Up until last summer both of my sisters and I lived in the DC area together. I really miss being able to see them regularly, especially now that my older sister is pregnant! They are keeping the baby’s gender a surprise, so I can’t wait to meet my first niece/nephew!
When we got to their house, we were pleasantly surprised with a huge breakfast spread! Yum! I’m impressed that even at 9 months pregnant my sister didn’t mind the smell of the eggs her husband cooked for the rest of us. (She Really hates eggs).
The spread included breakfast potatoes

Scrambled eggs

the freshest tasting cantaloupe and honeydew melon.

And delicious bagels.

It’s so nice to sit down to a big breakfast with family and get to catch up! After breakfast we walked around her new town and where she works. I really enjoy being able to picture where people are and now I have a good grasp on what there life is looking like.
Unfortunately, she didn’t have the baby while we were there and so I didn’t get to meet him/her. So, I guess we’ll have to wait for that!
