Butt Kicking

Consider my butt kicked.  Today I decided to walk the stairs, not in the office, but to my apartment.  On the 12th floor.  It was not as bad as I expected, but it was a good workout.  I'm hoping to do it without stopping for my breath at all.  There are two goals with climbing the stairs, one is to increase my fitness.  The second is to work on my fear of heights/falling.  It does not help that you can see between the stairs and every single stair (except for the very last one) has one or more cracks in it.  Yikes!  Talk about taking on my fear head on!

I'm not sure if it was the stairs, the fear or the heat from the walk home, but I got home and was not hungry at all.  In fact the smell of food turned me off.  This happens sometimes so I'm just chugging water and waiting until hunger comes.  In the meantime, I'm catching up on the Real Housewives of Atlanta...

I started with the Mix 1 and felt good for the first few hours.

I think the coffee didn't sit well, so when my coworkers went to Panera I went along and picked up a Whole Wheat bagel.  To stop myself from eating the whole thing I immediately gave half to my friend.
I'm not used to this many calories in the morning, I didn't even think about lunch until almost one.  Even then I didn't really want lunch, but I had it anyway to make sure I didn't get hungry and make bad decisions.  I had the last of the chicken and mushrooms.
not very photogenic!  I followed this with some trail mix
and an Ezekiel English muffin.   This one had plenty of raisins, yay!  I've been hoping that the last one was just a fluke.
As always hubby Dan prepared salt and pepper chicken and red potatoes for dinner.  I paired this combination with a Pom Blueberry and club soda.
Hubby had his reliably awesome 15-Minute Rosemary Garlic Potatoes waiting for me tonight.  Check back later this week for the recipe!
This would be a LOT of wine, but I thought it would be fun to have the drink in a wine glass.
Yum, a perfect dinner!  Just a few more hours until the final drawing for Mix 1Still time to enter!
