Things I can't live without: water edition

Happy Sunday! I was able to get a little more sleep in because hubby is home, it just stinks that I have to wake up at 5:30 to take my medicine. I was thinking about it yesterday and I have 6 times each day that I have to take medicine, and all of the drugs must be taken at the same time each day. Yes, I'm a 90 year old.

Another thing that makes me feel old is my bladder. Or well, maybe I force it on there. Getting enough water in is essential for me, which is great because apparently it helps my body fight the clot too. Now many of us that work in offices are aware of how dangerous office kitchens can be. Treats and snacks and candy oh my! However, the kitchen is where the water is. I drink A LOT of water. I don't want to constantly have to face the temptation.

So, instead of dehydrating myself, my friend gave me this 20-cup slimline water holder.(This is NOT a sponsored review)It easily fits in the shelf at the top of my cube and lasts me about a day or two.
And before anyone thinks that this is the lazy way to go, I find that I drink more this way, and that means more trips to the bathroom, which is twice as far away as the kitchen. So I am up and walking to the bathroom frequently. So much so that I became friends with the girls that sit next to it.
I believe she found this water container at Wal-Mart, I have no idea how expensive it was, but it's worth it. I love having my water at my desk, I love having one less reason to face temptation!

As far as food goes, last night hubby ordered pizza. I had a couple of bites and I was not enjoying it. So, I STOPPED. I put the piece back in the box! Instead I ate my artichoke and I loved every bite.

Also, as many loyal readers know, Sunday morning means free donuts in my lobby. All I want is fruit. I think I must be really thirsty so I have my bottle of water next to me and I just finished a mango. As a final thought, mangos are hard to cut without using a sharp knife! I look like a kid with the mango juice all over my face, hands and forearms!

Happy Sunday all!
